# Referral templates

Copy starters for clear Chain referrals without unverified offers or product claims.

Sharing your own Chain referral link? Start here. These are editable examples for posts, newsletters, stream descriptions and graphics. Pick a placement, replace `[your referral URL]`, and keep the relationship line beside the link.

A referral link does not make you an official spokesperson. Use a disclosure that accurately describes your relationship and meets the requirements of your placement. The examples below make no reward or promotion claim.

## Make it yours, then check it

1. Follow [Create a referral link](/account/referral-links/) and use your actual URL. Replace every placeholder.
2. Match the introduction to the real destination. Check the finished link in the final placement; opening it alone does not prove attribution was recorded.
3. Keep the disclosure readable near the link, including on a phone. Adapt it to the actual relationship and applicable requirements.
4. Check current terms before adding a reward, rate, eligibility, availability or promotion claim. Keep relevant conditions beside the claim, and never promise an outcome.
