Referral links and user handles

Create a share link, reserve a permanent user handle, and understand attribution limits.

Share your referral link from the Affiliate page. You can use a wallet-address link or reserve an eligible display name as a permanent user handle. A user handle makes the link easier to remember; it does not change the wallet that receives the referral binding.

  1. Sign in with the wallet you want to use and open the Affiliate page.
  2. Choose the wallet-address link or one of your available user handles.
  3. Choose a destination page on Chain if you want the link to open somewhere specific.
  4. Copy the link and check its destination before sharing it.

Choosing a displayed user handle does not automatically make it your default. Use Make primary user handle to save that choice. Your existing eligible links stay bound to their original wallet.

  1. Open Settings and save your display name.
  2. In User handle, review the suggested user handle, remaining lifetime claims, and permanent public link to your wallet.
  3. Confirm that you understand the claim is permanent, then select Reserve user handle and approve the requested wallet signature.
  4. Wait for confirmation before sharing the new user handle. Return to Affiliate to select it or make it primary.

A user handle must use 3–32 English letters, digits, or single interior hyphens, and begin with a letter. Your display name can use its own supported format, but the saved display name must meet these rules before you can reserve it as a user handle.

The current self-service allowance is two lifetime user handle claims. Each new reservation uses one. Changing your display name does not consume a claim, rename an existing user handle, or release it for someone else. Selecting an eligible existing primary user handle uses no new claim.

A reserved user handle is publicly linked to its wallet. Old user handles remain bound to that wallet, even after a display name change. Do not reserve a user handle on the assumption that you can later transfer it, make the wallet connection private, or recover a lifetime claim.

If a user handle is unavailable or new reservations are temporarily disabled, use an existing eligible link and follow the displayed guidance. Review the current state before repeating a request whose result is unclear.

A referral link can record a binding when a new Smart Vault is created. Opening a link is not proof of a referral, and a display name change does not alter an existing on-chain binding.

The referral binding does not itself pay affiliate rewards. Any operator reward program has separate terms. Do not promise rewards or earnings based on a link, a user handle, or a Sample chart.

Live activity may be unavailable. Sample players, losses, rewards, and charts illustrate the interface; they are not your real referrals or earnings. For wording you can use when sharing, see referral templates.
