Mines

Reveal safe tiles, track the changing chance, and cash out before a mine.

Reveal safe tiles to increase the available payout. A mine ends the round with zero return. After a successful reveal, you can cash out rather than risk the next one.

  1. Choose a 5×5, 7×7, or 10×10 board and the mine count.
  2. Set the wager and begin a manual round.
  3. Reveal a tile, then read the confirmed result and current cash-out amount.
  4. Cash out after a safe reveal, or continue until a mine or the round’s last playable step.
  1. Board setup: choose 5×5, 7×7, or 10×10 and a mine count from 1 to one less than the tile count, subject to the configuration the game accepts.
  2. Safe reveal: increases the cash-out amount. With fewer tiles left and the same number of mines, the next safe reveal becomes less likely.
  3. Mine: ends the round with zero return. Choosing a corner or a particular pattern does not improve a tile’s chance.
  4. Last playable step: the round stops before an unavailable payout step or when all safe tiles are cleared. The 5,000× ceiling is not a promise that every configuration can pay exactly 5,000×.
  5. Manual or committed pattern: manual play offers a cash-out choice after each safe reveal. A committed pattern chooses tiles before betting and resolves without decisions between reveals.

Cash out to collect: the displayed cash-out amount is still at risk until that action settles.

Choose a 5×5 board, three mines, and a 10-unit wager.

  1. First reveal: 22 of 25 possibilities are safe, an 88% chance.
  2. Safe, then cash out: the first multiplier rounds to 1.13×. With amounts representable to hundredths, you receive 11.30, for 1.30 profit.
  3. Continue instead: the next reveal has 21 safe possibilities out of 24, or 87.5%. Hitting a mine returns zero and loses the 10-unit stake.

The first multiplier is 0.99 × 25 ÷ 22 = 1.125, rounded to hundredths using this game’s rule.

Example amounts use generic currency units; the currency’s precision determines final rounding.

  1. Your meaningful choice is exposure: board configuration, how far to continue, and when to bank.
  2. Corners and memorized tile patterns are not safer. A final board illustration is not a map you could have discovered in advance; manual play resolves safety on each reveal.

The grid evokes hidden-hazard games, but this is a wagering and cash-out loop rather than a numbered deduction puzzle.
