What you are playing
Section titled “What you are playing”Pick numbers and compare them with ten drawn numbers. Your number of matches and selected paytable determine the return.
How to play
Section titled “How to play”- Choose 1–10 distinct numbers from the 40-number board.
- Choose Classic, Low, Medium, or High risk and inspect the paytable for that exact pick count.
- Set the wager and place the bet.
- Count matches and read the payout for that match count.
Rules and payouts
Section titled “Rules and payouts”- Your selection: 1–10 distinct numbers from 1–40.
- The draw: ten distinct numbers. Compare them with your selection to count matches.
- Your paytable: depends on both risk level and how many numbers you picked. Read the row for the final match count.
- Partial returns: some outcomes pay less than the stake. Some configurations even pay for zero matches.
Check the whole table: a match is not automatically a profit, and the headline prize does not describe the usual outcome.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Choose one number, Medium risk, and a 10-unit wager.
| Outcome | Chance | Gross return | Net result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your number is drawn | 25% | 27.50 | +17.50 |
| Your number is not drawn | 75% | 4 | −6 |
For this table, 0.25 × 2.75 + 0.75 × 0.40 = 98.75% theoretical return. That is a long-run table calculation, not a promise about your next bets.
Example amounts use generic currency units; the currency’s precision determines final rounding.
Practical tips
Section titled “Practical tips”- Read the entire current paytable rather than only the top prize.
- More picks do not universally mean better expected return. Favorite numbers and patterns on the board do not change the probability of a particular set being drawn.
Background
Section titled “Background”The number-board and draw format provides a lottery-like family resemblance. This version has 40 numbers and ten draws; importing rules from an 80-number Keno game would be incorrect.
